Jackie Fox Speaks Out

Jackie Fox speaks about Kim Fowley raping her in this very powerful story. She did not offer me this account when I interviewed her for Queens of Noise, although I did ask as I had heard it from others on deep background. I believe she was not ready to talk about it then, and that Kim’s death helped release her from her silence (and saved her from a possible legal battle). Kim repeatedly denied to me that he had sexual contact with members of the Runaways.  I believe Jackie’s story is largely true, and that the writer did a good job reporting it. He cites Queens several times. I hope being able to speak about it helps her heal and move forward.
