Grrrls on Film got off to a great start last night with a very frank, fierce discussion by five powerful women — Karyn Kusama, Leena Pendharkar, Angela Boatwright, Janice Rhoshalle Littlejohn, and Vanessa Newell — about filmmaking. Followed by Dirty Girls and The Runaways, with filmmakers Floria Sigismondi, Michael Lucid, and original girls Amber and Harper answering questions after. More great films and discussions today: lmu.edu/grrrlsonfilm.
